KPD’s “Samsara” – A Multimedia Physically Integrated Dance Work

Choreographer Karen Peterson Corash will create a new multimedia physically integrated dance work, for eight dancers and three children, entitled “Samsara”, with long time video collaborator, Maria Lino. The full-length work, based on disability, family dynamics and generational lineage comes from the Sanskrit/Pali word meaning the “cyclicality of all life, matter, existence”. “Samsara” is the cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the material world is bound and the traces the life journey of many dance artists the Karen Peterson Dancers Company.
