Forward Motion Festival – Karen Peterson and Dancers & Kinetic Light

Untold Stories combines choreography by Karen Peterson and visuals by media artist Dinorah de Jesús Rodríguez to delve into the multiplicity of ways we experience the most intimate and secretive parts of our lives as human beings.

Kinetic Light’s Under Momentum performed by disabled dancers on and around a set of exquisitely engineered ramps celebrates the joy of being in continuous motion, the allure of speed, and the beautiful futility of resisting gravity torque. Choreography by Alice Walker in collaboration with dancer Laurel Lawson.
