MDCA Away from Home: “Disonancia” by Abel González Melo

Teatro Avante and Miami-Dade County Auditorium presents “Disonancia” (Dissonance), by Abel González Melo and directed by Mario Ernesto Sánchez, on Thursday, February 20 through Saturday, February 22 at 8:30 pm and Sunday, February 23 at 5:00 pm at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center (WCAC).

A totalitarian regime rises under the guise of democratic revolutions, covert and subtle, which tests the integrity of society and human beings in Abel González Melo’s gripping drama. Through the tools that theatre, thought and art offer, we analyze how dictatorships develop mechanisms of violence.
