Raíz de 4, by Rafael Peral and Marisa Adame, Casa Patas Flamenco, was born out of an admiration and esteem for Flamenco by delving into its most primitive roots, the very origins which evoke a convergence of cultures and the folklore of Spain. The purest styles of flamenco, such as romance (ballads), martinetes, fandangos and soleares, are brought to the forefront in a performance made up of a cast of distinguished artists. Song (cante), dance (baile), guitar (guitarra), and percussion (percusión) come together on stage in natural fashion, while conveying a genuine love for this art form and taking the audience on a simple and unswerving journey of feelings, sensations, and emotions.
